With 150 new COVID-19 cases, Hawaii’s total for infections surpasses 24,000

HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) – Hawaii reported 150 new COVID-19 cases on Friday.

The statewide total for infections since the pandemic began now stands at 24,058.

Meanwhile, no new fatalities were reported. The death toll from the virus in Hawaii is 318.

Of the new infections Friday, 111 were on Oahu, 26 on Maui, five on the Big Island, and one on Kauai. There were also seven residents diagnosed out-of-state.

It’s the 11th consecutive day Hawaii has seen a triple-digit rise in new cases.

There have been 2,193 cases in the last 14 days.

Here’s a breakdown of cases:

  • 19,691 total cases
  • 1,402 required hospitalization
  • 249 deaths
  • 2,055 total cases
  • 92 required hospitalization
  • 45 deaths
  • 1,400 total cases
  • 85 required hospitalization
  • 20 deaths
  • 106 total cases
  • 5 required hospitalization
  • 0 deaths
  • 25 total cases
  • 1 required hospitalization
  • 0 deaths
  • 170 total cases
  • 7 required hospitalization
  • 1 deaths
  • 610 total cases
  • 4 required hospitalization
  • 3 deaths
