In the fourth fiscal quarter of 2022, Sony Corporation sold approximately 68 million games for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, down from 86.5 million unit sales in the preceding quarter. The company’s strong performance with full game software unit sales during the end of 2022 is related to the holiday quarter at the end of 2021 and the release of several major titles such as God of War: Ragnarök and Sonic Frontiers.
