Accuracy Leaves Minnesota RØKKR – September 1st
Minnesota RØKKR, winners of the Stage 5 Major on Black Ops Cold War, has announced that Lamar “Accuracy” Abedi has left the franchise. Known for a legendary 1v3 clutch scored against OpTic Chicago, the “Ice Man” spent the majority of the season on the substitute bench. A replacement for Accuracy has yet to be revealed.
CDL 2022 Rostermania Confirmed Changes

CDL Rostermania 2022 RumoursDallas Empire To Merge With OpTic?
According to a report by Dot Esports, the Dallas Empire is in talks with the Green Wall to obtain the OpTic brand, meaning that the Chicago franchise slot could be available to purchase. If the deal is completed, this will be the third time the OpTic brand has moved in three seasons of CDL competition.
The report reveals that Hector “HECZ” Rodriguez no longer wants to work with NRG Esports and with the founder of the Green Wall unable to pay operations cost and the payroll, longtime rivals Team Envy stepped in. Since the report, two players from Chicago and two from Dallas have departed, leaving four remaining which could be the starting lineup for 2022.
Cloud9 To Enter The CDL?
With the Chicago slot expected to be for sale, and with the Paris Legion seemingly ceasing its operations after abandoning its trademark, rumours are pointing towards Cloud9 making a return to Call of Duty esports. The organisation has been interacting with various personalities on Twitter, fuelling rumours of its return for 2022.
