Lanner today launched the NCA-6040, a 2U 19” rackmount security network appliance built with Intel® Xeon® Processor Scalable Family (Sapphire Rapids-SP) and Emmisburg PCH. The introduction of the NCA-6040 fulfills network service providers’ demand for a more robust and flexible hardware platform for delivering optimal network computing performance and modest ownership costs.

With its support for Intel® QuickAssist Technology and up to 768GB of DDR5 system memory at 4800 MHz, the NCA-6040 greatly maximizes packet processing efficiency for virtual network functions, cryptography acceleration (for deep packet inspection) and next-generation firewall and UTM/IPS/IDS applications.

For optimal networking services, the NCA-6040 comes with either eight NCS2 or four N2S NIC module slots, making the NCA-6040 the perfect network appliance for optimizing network traffic management and for enhancing virtualized network security.

Other outstanding features include dual GbE RJ45 Ethernet ports, one RJ45 console port, two USB 3.0 ports, four smart fans, two 2.5” or 3.5” HDD/SSD bays, one M.2 (SATA) 2280 B+M Key, two M.2 NvME (PCIe) 2280 M Key, 1600W CRPS AC PSU and optional TPM and one optional PCI-E*8 FH/HL.
