Marc Mullins
Marc Mullins co-anchors WRTV News at 5pm, 6pm and 11pm. He is an Emmy-award winning anchor and reporter, with accolades from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, the Associated Press and the Society of Professional Journalists. Marc joined WRTV in 2012 and anchored the station’s morning and noon newscasts for more than four years. Eventually, Marc traded in early bird status to be a night owl.
Marc helped to launch WRTV’s Hiring Hoosiers reporting project, aimed at connecting people who live in Indiana with job opportunities, career advancement programs and examining the barriers keeping Hoosiers from working.
Prior to joining WRTV, Marc worked as an anchor and managing editor at KMTR TV in Eugene, Oregon. He also covered stories in the South, hitting the streets of Atlanta as a General Assignment Reporter/Fill-In Anchor for WGCL TV. Marc got his start in the industry at KPAX TV in Missoula, Montana, where he served as a producer and reporter.
Marc hails from New England, grew up in New Haven, Connecticut and graduated from Boston University.
But now he’s a Hoosier, loving downtown-Indianapolis living and hanging with his loyal sidekick — a Pekingese named Bishop.
