Need to travel? Here are the government’s latest rules on quarantine, travel, testing and vaccinations.

All incoming travelers into Guam are subject to a 10 day quarantine. Travelers arriving into the United States from any foreign country are subject to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention requirement of obtaining a negative pre-departure COVID-19 test result or documentation of recovery from COVID-19, and are still required to undergo quarantine. The following exemptions apply.

Pre-arrival negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test

Passengers who present a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test may be exempt from quarantine. Upon arrival, present photo identification (passport, driver’s license or state-issued identification) or a valid negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test collected within 72 hours of arrival. Test results must include patient name, date of birth, specimen collection date and the type of COVID-19 test.

Other pre-arrival negative COVID-19 viral test

Passengers who do not qualify for exemption from quarantine, either because they lack a negative COVID test or aren’t fully vaccinated, must present a photo identification (passport, driver’s license or state-issued identification) and a valid negative COVID-19 viral (non-RT-PCR) test result collected within 72 hours before arrival.

Other viral tests, such as LAMP tests or antigen tests, also identify whether individuals are infected with coronavirus. Test results must include patient name, date of birth, specimen collection date and the type of COVID-19 test.
