CDC predicts COVID-19 deaths will drop nearly 50% in the coming weeks

CNN– The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention predicts less than 13,000 people may die from the virus over the next four weeks. That’s nearly a 50% drop from the previous forecast and the lowest that number has been projected so far this year.

The CDC also says hospitalizations will decrease between now and mid-April.
